Raymond mill is a commonly used grinding equipment with a wide range of uses. It is suitable for the preparation of various mineral powders and coal powders, such as raw material ore, gypsum ore, coal and other materials. It is mainly used for high-fine powder processing of more than 280 materials in non-flammable and explosive minerals, chemicals, construction and other industries with Mohs hardness not greater than 9.3 and humidity below 6% such as barite, calcite, talc, marble, limestone, dolomite, lime, activated carbon, bentonite, kaolin, cement, phosphate rock, gypsum, glass, thermal insulation materials, etc. One of the common faults of Raymond mill in use is that it does not produce powder or produces less powder. What are the reasons for this fault? How to solve it? Xingaonai will introduce in detail:
1. The powder lock is not sealed tightly
If the sealing work of the powder lock is not done well during the grinding process of the Raymond mill, the phenomenon of grinding powder back suction will be formed, resulting in no powder or less powder.
Solution: Check the sealing condition of the powder lock in time and adjust the sealing degree.
2. Wear of fan blades and blockage of air duct
If the fan blades of the Raymond mill are seriously worn, the air volume will inevitably decrease, which will cause the air duct to be blocked. Other foreign objects blocking the air duct will cause abnormal powder discharge of the Raymond mill.
Solution: Check the wear of the fan blades. If it is serious, replace it immediately, clean up the foreign objects in the air duct, and keep the air duct unobstructed.
3. Severe wear of the shovel
The shovel of the Raymond mill is a consumable part, because the shovel is in the process of continuous rotation, scooping up the material and throwing it between the grinding roller and the grinding ring for grinding. It will wear out after long-term use. When the wear is serious, the shovel will not be able to shovel the material, resulting in no powder or less powder.
Solution: Check and replace the new shovel regularly.
4. The fan is not adjusted properly
If the air volume of the Raymond mill fan is not adjusted properly, it will also cause abnormal powder discharge. When the air volume is too large, the mill will discharge abnormally, the powder will be too coarse, and the air volume will be too small, the powder will be too fine.
Solution: Turn down the fan appropriately to reduce the air intake to solve the problem of too coarse powder output. If it is too fine, increase the inlet air volume to ensure the appropriate air volume.
5. The analyzer does not work
The analyzer of the Raymond mill is responsible for analyzing the size of the finished powder, whether it meets the finished product standards, and whether it needs to be sanded again. If the blades of the analyzer are severely worn, it will not play a grading role, which will cause the powder to be too coarse or too fine.
Solution: Replace with new blades.
