The 33rd Italian International Machine Tool Metalworking and Automation Machinery Exhibition (BI-MU), hosted by the Italian Machine Tool, Robot and Automatic Control Equipment Manufacturing Association (referred to as the Italian Machine Tool Association or UCIMU), will be held at the New Milan International Exhibition Center in Italy on October 24, 2024.

The biennial BI-MU exhibition is one of the important international professional machine tool exhibitions in Europe in 2022, and it is also one of the important economic activities for the Italian machine tool industry to expand the international market. BI-MU exhibits cover a wide range, including metal cutting machine tools, metal forming machine tools, tools, industrial robots, industrial automation, accessories and components, measurement, welding, machinery and equipment polishing, services, flexible manufacturing units and systems, R&D, environment and safety, CAD, CAM, CAE, PLM systems, etc.(xingaonai)

According to statistics from the organizers, there were 1,060 companies participating in the last exhibition, with an exhibition area of 90,000 square meters, of which 53% were Italian companies and 47% were overseas. These foreign exhibitors came from 29 countries and regions: Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, China (including Taiwan), Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Britain, Netherlands, India, Israel, Japan, Monaco, Poland, Portugal, San Marino, Serbia, Slovenia, Spain, South Korea, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey, and the United States. The internationalization of the BI-MU exhibition can be seen from this. These exhibitors brought more than 3,000 machines to the exhibition, with a total value of 450 million euros.
